Central Office Jitters

It seems that certain parties at Conservative Central Office are not altogether relishing the prospect of a DD leadership.

In fact, according to the S Torygraph's Mandrake column, one CCO "toiler" is so desperate that he/she has put out a distress call for Lord Sebastion of Olympics Blank Cheque to mount a last-minute rescue:

"Members of the Upper House are not barred from the premiership, and we have seen figures that Seb has higher public recognition than Davis. I'd be surprised if discussions hadn't taken place."

Can't imagine why they're so jumpy. Forgive and forget, eh Major?
